Local TMC leader shot dead in South 24 Pgs by 3 masked criminals

TMC booth president, identified as Sadhan Mandal, was shot and killed at a tea shop
The incident took place last night in the Durgavati area of South 24 Parganas district, under the Bishnupur police station

Local TMC leader shot dead in South 24 Pgs by 3 masked criminals

A Trinamool leader, identified as Sadhan Mandal, was shot and killed at a tea shop in the Durgavati area of South 24 Parganas district, under the Bishnupur police station. Mandal was reportedly the booth president for the Trinamool party in the area.

Local sources have indicated that on Sunday night, three individuals on a motorbike, with their faces covered, opened fire on Mandal, firing five rounds in total. Sadly, one of the bullets struck Mandal in the head, causing him to die instantly.

Upon receiving information about the incident, police officials from the Bishnupur police station promptly arrived at the scene and took custody of Mandal's body for post-mortem examination. The police have launched an investigation into the incident, however, no arrests have been made so far.
